1/3/5 Year Business Planning

Suitable for:
This course is aimed at those who are involved it the future planning within their practice. This can be GP partners, practice managers, finance managers or salaried GPs with an interest in developing their skills for future partnership.

Course summary: Over a two hour period we shall:

  • Cover how to assess our current position and make effective decisions on future goals and aspirations and willingness to change. 
  • Look at ensuring the practices values and ethos are aligned to decision making and team development. 
  • Review and prioritise strategies for issues inside our control and contingency measures for those outside our control.

The course includes several exercises for you to explore your own/practice learning needs and allows you to take ideas and actions back to your Practice for further development.

Course format:

The course will be run via zoom – a joining link will be shared with you a few days before the event. We provide interactive sessions with between 3 and 12 delegates allowing opportunity for small group discussions. Please therefore ensure you can log in using your own device (rather than sharing devices with colleagues) with sound and video.

Cost:

The course is fully funded however we do request a £10 donation per delegate to the Cameron Fund. The donation is optional – to book a place without making the online donation please contact us

Cancellations:

If you are unable to attend please consider whether your place can be used by a colleague. Late cancellations and DNAs are costly in terms of both finance and time – if you need to cancel please let us know at least 5 days before the course date.
